The NCCEP/GEAR UP Annual Conference is the national convening of professionals, parents, students, policymakers, and community partners who support GEAR UP programs and the students they serve. By attending, you will gain ideas, strategies, and tools to better serve GEAR UP students through inspiring plenary sessions, concurrent sessions, and networking opportunities.
GEAR UP is the only reason I was confident enough to consider college. I'm a first-generation college student and didn't think I had what it took to graduate high school for a while. GEAR UP made me feel ready and excited to graduate and continue my education. Thank you to the GEAR UP coordinators and high school staff for making me believe in myself. I know they believed in me.
